About 60 miles north of Rome is the awesome town of Civita. We were able to stop off here for just an hour or so and to be honest it was one of my favorite places in Italy. While in this little village, perched on top of some Etruscan ruins, we were able to pretty...

{Yours Truly}
I don’t think my own face appears on my own blog…just about ever! So in honor of yet another Friday that has swiftly arrived, here is a photo of Brade and I…sitting on top of a hill in the beautiful hill-town of Assisi. Enjoy folks, it’s a rarity that my modeling skills make the blog:)...
{The Pantheon}
Our hotel in Rome was about one block away from this historic building. It was built as a temple to all the gods of Ancient Rome, in about 126 AD. It looked old, felt old, and was incredibly detailed with it’s ornate dome ceiling and marble columns. They were restoring the left front side, so...
{Tuscany}
It’s really pretty here…to say the least! Headed to Rome tomorrow and then home. Truly, this is one of the most beautiful places in the world and we feel so grateful to have seen it. Desserts aren’t too bad either!
{Day 5 – Florence}
Each day is individually amazing and unique…today was no different…and equally incredible. It’s hard to imagine the times of the Renaissance, but seeing the priceless artwork and sculptures has beyond exceeded my expectations. This morning we got to see the The David, and we were the first to see him as the museum opened. It...
{Day 4 – Florence}
My little legs are sore and sleepy from all the walking we’ve done today:) Left Venice this morning around 5:30 a.m. to catch our early train to Florence, and tomorrow we will see The David. We’re a fast paced group (Brade’s parents & us), but never moving too fast to stop for a gelato! Goodnight...
{Day 2- Venice, Italy}
Just a few sights we stumbled upon while touring ourselves around Venice today. 4 Churches, a palace, a museum, 2 gelato’s, a piece of pizza and another plate of spaghetti. Every street has another mystery to discover, and something new to take your breath away. There is literally beauty everywhere!!!
{Passport}
Caio! I never thought in my lifetime that I would be a world traveler, but after last summer’s trip to Europe, we’re hoping to make it a Platt Family tradition! We arrived early this morning to Milan, Italy, and after spending a few hours touring a cathedral and the streets, we took a train ride...
{Bring it on Rain}
Is anyone else ready for warmer weather? We are headed to St. George for a wedding and a few sessions, hopefully the weather will be on our side, but if not, we’ll dance in it! Happy Weekend to everyone! These are a few more fav’s from the trip to Europe, last summer.
{Our Trip}
Since being married on March 17, 2006 we have been trying to make it out to Europe. This trip was somewhat of a once in a lifetime experience. So I thought about sharing with our blogging friends what we ended up doing and hope it hasn’t been a Europe overload on the blog. (Braydon shot...
