{Caitlyn & Chandler – Engagements}

When I first talked to Cailtyn, she said she envisioned their location to be something with a red barn, some open fields, and possibly a pond, if we could find one. Well, Brade has a friend that owns some land that happened to include all of their requests. It was a beautiful evening and fun to shoot this photogenic couple!

This couple is absolutely dynamite!!! They are so passionate about life, each other, their wedding day, and everything that is going to come after that day too. I just wanted to hug and kiss them both after this session and I could just shoot them for hours and hours on end. Not only are they totally attractive on the outside, they are genuine and beautiful people on the inside too. Brittany made her jewelry and her bird cage veil for the big day, while Bryce is building their alter. I can’t wait to see his face light up when his bride comes walking down the isle. Talk about a couple with style! Brittany and Anthony aren’t afraid to be different or to be themselves and both made for such a fun session. Anthony pulled a James Bond look and Brittany could have walked off a runway with her amazing summer dress! We wish them the very best in this new adventure of marriage- they make one fine pair!

{Chris & Lacey – Engagements}

With a wedding coming up in the next few months, we wanted to plan something really fun for these engagements. Lacey and Chris love camping, hiking, biking, and being up in the mountains and outdoors together. So we headed up American Fork canyon for some really beautiful locations that they helped pick out. Lacey has always loved guitar and when she met Chris, she begged him to teach her to play. They played a few songs for me and then Chris played “Lacey’s song”, and it was so sweet. It was a perfect summer evening and it made me want to go back up the canyon and have some adventures myself! Lacey’s Grandma happened to have a vintage bicycle so we had some good times with that too!

I’m constantly reminded that there are so many smart & talented people out there, when I work with couples like Chris & Lacey. Nothing better than a hard working guy marrying a hard working girl!

I love Mike and Brie. We got to photograph their wedding in December of 2008 and it was the most fun wedding I’d ever been to. They were so in love that day, and now 1.5 years later, they are still so in love. They have fun together, just being together. Talking, lounging, being the best of friends.

While shooting this session, I realized just how much fun I have with them. They are real, genuine, amazing, brilliant, and so many other things. Brie has been one of the head nurses up at Primary Children’s and Mike just got accepted to Law school in Missouri. Brie is going to start her new job as an ER nurse and then go back to school to get her NP license. Talk about success! I truly wish them all the best for their new adventure; it’s going to be awesome!!!

Jay & Jamie have amazing chemistry. I got lucky to spend a few hours with them in North Carolina a few weeks ago, for a fun workshop. I loved the scenery out there…I’d probably move there if I could! They are getting married in a few months, and although they’ll never see this post, I wish them the very best! I loved, LOVED working with them!
