This was our 4th time photographing this awesome family. We are so lucky to have met them and gotten to work with them so often. They really are the best. Little Oakley turned one last month, but has been fighting sicknesses here and there, so we finally got something scheduled and that morning she started feeling really sick again. So she wasn’t totally herself, but she is an absolute doll and the sweetest little bug. I kept wanting to just scoop her up and snuggle her! She is both a mama’s girl and a daddy’s girl, loves to stick her tongue out, and really liked suckin’ down her cake for a few minutes. (My favorite is the one of her crying while she held her balloon…she was so done about then). Mal & Nate, thank you for coming back again for round 4- we hope to keep shooting this beautiful family for a long time!

{Chad & Eryn Wedding}
After going through all of our work for the past year, we realized that we missed posting about this beautiful wedding from last October. We loved working with Chad & Eryn and seeing that beautiful color in the pictures is getting us so excited for the upcoming Spring weddings too. I loved that these two ran the St. George Marathon together the week before their wedding, and that they are planning a trip to Europe for this summer. What a fun couple! Their getaway after the reception was so Tom Cruise. There is nothing hotter than driving away holding onto the love of your life into the night…so romantic.
Bloomers did a beautiful job on the flowers while Shaw’s Catering kept it simple and elegant with the yummy food.

{Has it been a week?}
Gosh, it’s crazy how fast time is flying by these days. It’s already been a full week since our last post and I honestly can’t figure out where the time goes. This picture is one from a fun session last weekend; it was freezing cold, but it was really fun to get some shots in the cool white covered tree’s too. One for now…more later:) Have a great Friday night!
Also I am now on Facebook (Finally) If you follow this link and become a fan. It sure would make my day:) Currently I have 0 Fans.

{Nick & Ashlee Engagements}
I’m pretty sure that by the end of this session, Ashlee was turning purple all over. But we had a really fun time getting to know her and Nick for a few hours and they have such great style too. They met a few years ago and became fast friends, but it took Ashlee going all the way to Italy to study abroad to realize that her and Nick were going to be inseperable. I can’t wait to see their beautiful wedding plans unfold and to spend more time with these two will be awesome!

{The Open Heart}
A few weeks ago, I sat on the couch watching American Idol with Brade. I acted like I was crushed that he didn’t know what I “really” wanted for Valentines Day. We don’t go all out for holidays, except for Christmas and Birthdays, so he really was confused for a minute. I told him all I wanted was the Open Heart necklace, designed by Jane Seymour, from Kay Jewelers. Well, he surely didn’t dissappoint this year with his thoughtful Valentines gift. Homemade gifts are the best, and this one made me laugh for a long, long time. He used rafia for the neckace part, and hand cut out the heart design…what an awesome guy! Those Kay Jeweler’s commercials make me laugh so hard- clever, clever marketing…especially the recent “thunder/lightening” one!
P.S. I didn’t do a single thing for love day. I’ll be hatching Brade a son in about 4.5 weeks though:)

{Love}
Just a sneak peek from Phil & Paige’s big day last week- they were darling to each other and couldn’t keep from smiling ear to ear all day long. Congrats you two lovebirds!!!
We hope everyone had a wonderful Valentines Day! Stay tuned to see my homemade gift from Brade:)

{Kylee & Jon Engagements}
I know, without a doubt, that we are going to have such a blast working with Jon & Kylee! They are awesome. Totally awesome!
We had a great time getting to know them last weekend at their engagement shoot, and I’m pretty sure we got some great laughs in too. We have their bridals and wedding in April and I can’t wait to get together with them again! Let us know what you think about these fun shots!

{Bring it on Rain}
Is anyone else ready for warmer weather? We are headed to St. George for a wedding and a few sessions, hopefully the weather will be on our side, but if not, we’ll dance in it! Happy Weekend to everyone!

These are a few more fav’s from the trip to Europe, last summer.
{Jake & Whitney-Wedding Day}
This wedding was one of four that we covered the last week of December. As you can see, we had some beautiful, but cold snow to grace the day. I thought it made for such fun pictures, even though our Bride was about frozen! About a week before the wedding, we found out that Jake and Braydon were mission companions for a while in Buffalo, NY. It makes you realize how small this world is!
Whitney really planned out her day so well. Everything was designed to have a vintage feel and it turned out perfectly. They decided to have a dinner with family and close friends and it sure made for a fun & intimate evening! Jake was totally excited to surprise Whitney with a stretch limo, so he had her wait an extra hour for it to arrive…I think she was surprised, and it was so cute to see him anxiously trying to keep it a secret from her! They now live in Buffalo NY for Jake to finish up Dental school- Best wishes you two!

{Thank you!}
I just wanted to say Thank you to each of you that posted a comment on my maternity post last week. It meant so much to hear from you and always makes my day to get comments- so thank you for your thoughtfulness and for your support! We can’t wait for our son to arrive, and we’ll be sure to keep you posted as the days near and of course when he makes his debut!
Thanks again!
